Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, CRRT, and ECMO
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and titrate drips per protocols
• Participate in emergency response and trauma resuscitation

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Experienced with balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, and ECMO
• Knowledge of post-operative care for CABG, TAVR, and trauma patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
