Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a busy birthing center
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor and delivery processes
• Assist with post-operative gynecological and urogynecology surgeries
• Care for high-risk pregnancies including PPROM, preeclampsia, and preterm labor
• Support NICU moms and manage postpartum complications
• Administer medications and perform fetal monitoring (NSTs)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum experience
• Valid RN license in Kansas or compact state
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience with OB, med-surg, GYN, and fetal monitoring preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in EMR systems like Meditech and CPN
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with positivity
