Location: Syracuse, New York

Start Date: 02-08-2026

End Date: 10-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts, discussed in interview. Options include 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). No weekends, no holidays, no call.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures
Assist physicians during EP studies, ablations, and device implantations
Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamics throughout procedures
Administer medications and sedation as ordered
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in New York or compact state
Minimum 2 years of EP Lab or cardiac cath lab experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency in Epic EHR
Ability to work varied shifts and communicate effectively

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and equipment
Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Competent in sterile technique and procedural preparation
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent patient communication and teamwork
