Location: Chillicothe, Ohio

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; weekends 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures that directly impact patient care
Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and select optimal settings for crystal-clear images
Prepare and position patients with care while explaining procedures to ease anxiety
Recognize and document both normal and abnormal findings to support accurate diagnoses
Collaborate with radiologists by providing preliminary impressions and timely reports
Maintain precise patient records and ensure equipment stays in top condition
Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols for every patient

Qualifications

Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) or Obstetrics (OB)
Current BLS/BCLS certification
Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general ultrasound imaging including abdomen, OB, and small parts
Ability to adapt techniques for patients from neonates to geriatrics
Clear communication and documentation skills
Proficiency with EMR systems and regulatory compliance
