Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field standards and support safe procedural care every shift
Educate and support patients and families through complex neuro diagnoses and recovery journeys

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro Telemetry experience within the last 6 months
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and sterile technique assessment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
Comfortable with post-crani, spine, and post-TPA stroke patients
Excellent sterile technique and infection prevention practices
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
