Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with both medical and behavioral health needs
Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with psychiatrists and the care team to support patients with secondary mental health diagnoses
Maintain a safe environment using video monitoring and behavioral health tech support
Float to ED psych holds or MedSurg floors as needed to support the broader team
Document thoroughly in Cerner while delivering patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience in a 600+ bed facility
Strong MedSurg/Telemetry skills with a genuine interest in working with patients who have behavioral health needs
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed) and complete SIMs Lab skills check-off

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Cerner electronic medical record system
Safe patient handling and sterile technique
De-escalation and behavioral health awareness
Video monitoring and restraint protocols
