Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a 26-bed cardiopulmonary telemetry and neuro unit
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing care
Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy teams to optimize patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from neuro events, CVAs, and pulmonary conditions
Mentor and guide PCTs while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and centralized EKG interpretation
Neuro and pulmonary patient care expertise
High-flow oxygen systems including Airvo
Collaborative care with hospitalists and 24/7 respiratory and pharmacy support
