Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Manage non-titrating drips and support patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and other specialty floors
Complete required SIMs Lab training on sterile technique for Foley and central line care

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed)
Must have reliable transportation for travel team assignments

Cardiac step-down and post-surgical patient care
Cerner EMR documentation
Philips telemetry monitoring
Maintaining sterile field during procedures
Safe patient handling and restraints
Wound care and IV management support
