Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring patients and newborns
Monitor fetal strips and make critical, life-saving decisions in real time
Titrate medications such as Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing your versatility
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and supportive CNA team
Follow AWHONN guidelines to deliver safe, high-quality care
Document accurately in Meditech and communicate clearly with the care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Strong fetal monitoring and critical-thinking skills
Previous travel experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret fetal strips independently
Willingness to float throughout the facility as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium
Critical thinking under pressure
Adapting quickly to change and new environments
Clear communication with patients and colleagues
