Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances quality of life for residents
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Coordinate individualized plans of care to improve outcomes for each resident
Champion the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
Maintain safety standards through universal precautions and proactive risk management

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN license required
Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship support

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership abilities
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Commitment to resident-centered care and safety excellence
Ability to coach and develop nursing support staff
