Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care during vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients
- Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced Novii and GE equipment
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage 1:1 or 2:1 ratios in a dynamic 19-bed unit with OR support
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 1+ years current acute care hospital L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
- AWHONN or EFM certification
- Flexible, friendly, and dependable personality
Education
- RN degree from accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in fetal monitoring with FHR monitors and fetal scalp electrodes
- Proficiency in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Strong L&D procedural skills including high-risk patient management
