Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time, with weekend requirements of 6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care nursing to patients in MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU units
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as assigned
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR system

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
First-time travelers need 3+ years ICU experience and Epic EMR experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
Ability to float and adapt to different units and facilities
Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expert critical care nursing skills including ventilator management
Proficient in patient assessment and recognition of deteriorating conditions
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with high-acuity patients requiring CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.
