Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and use the nursing process to create and update individualized care plans
Administer treatments and medications safely and accurately, following physician orders and facility protocols
Document resident care, observations, and outcomes thoroughly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and achieve positive resident outcomes
Provide clear, compassionate education and support to residents and their families
Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance quality of care and resident safety

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current CPR certification required
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Proven ability in medication administration, nursing assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing assessment and care planning
Medication administration and treatment implementation
Accurate clinical documentation
Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Resident education and culturally sensitive care
Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and apply results to the plan of care
