Shift Type: Per diem, 12.5-hour shifts, flexible days and shifts as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients in the Step Down Unit
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Carolina
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute care or step down environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
