Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to SDU patients
Monitor and document patient status and respond to changes promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (able to work in Louisiana)
Experience or familiarity with Step-Down Unit (SDU) patient care
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and flexible schedules
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of SDU patient monitoring and post-acute care needs
Skilled in clinical assessment and prioritization of patient care
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
