Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage a patient load with a focus on orthopedics and medical-surgical nursing
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
Utilize critical thinking and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Float to inpatient units, CCU, and ED as needed to support patient care
Document patient information accurately in Meditech system
Maintain a positive attitude and foster a supportive work culture

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
At least 2 years of recent experience in orthopedics or med-surg
BLS certification required
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player mentality

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech electronic health records
Knowledge of orthopedic and medical-surgical patient care procedures
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple patients with a 6:1 ratio
Adaptability to float and work in various units
