Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Start Date: 06-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with rotating STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
Assist in structural heart interventions including TAVR, PFO closure, and atherectomy
Operate and manage advanced hemodynamic support devices like Impella and IABP
Monitor and assess patient status during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Participate in STEMI call rotations, providing life-saving care during emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Proven proficiency with IABP, Impella, and structural heart procedures
Strong skills in PCI, R/LHC, and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
Expertise in sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
Skilled in using MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
Effective communication and patient education abilities
Adaptability to floating within EP and Stress lab departments
