Location: Austin, Texas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and one weekly on-call shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide acute dialysis treatments including IHD, PD, and CRRT for critically ill patients
Monitor patients during treatment and respond to changes in condition
Operate dialysis equipment such as Tablo, Prismax, and Amia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document care accurately in Meditech EMR
Participate in on-call rotation to cover emergent dialysis needs

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license or compact license accepted
Minimum 1 year of acute dialysis experience
BLS certification required
Experience with IHD, PD, and CRRT modalities
Flexibility to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in acute dialysis procedures and equipment
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
