Location: Charleston, South Carolina

Start Date: 06-11-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM until cases completed, with rotating call on weekdays and weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide moderate sedation to patients in all imaging departments including CT, MRI, US, and Radiology
Perform nursing care for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-procedure for any changes in condition
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech system

Qualifications

Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state
At least 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred

Education

Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in moderate sedation administration and monitoring
Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic clinical environments
Experience with Meditech documentation system
