Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and manage anesthesia recovery
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient transitions
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
Maintain a calm and compassionate environment during the critical recovery phase

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state (NLC)
ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia care and recovery protocols
Proficient in ACLS and emergency response
Skilled in patient monitoring and pain management
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
