Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift (weekends discussed at interview, possible on-call)

Bill Rate: $33.00 - $49.00/hour

Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000
$15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year tie of service agreement

Roles & Responsibilities

Safely administer precise radiation doses to patients under the direction of the radiation oncologist
Perform a variety of radiotherapy simulations and treatments with attention to ALARA principles
Implement new simulation or treatment techniques and equipment to improve patient outcomes
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing compassionate care throughout treatment
Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to deliver top-notch cancer care

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology
Registered or registry eligible Radiation Therapist (RT(T))
One year of clinical experience in radiation therapy
Kansas license for Radiology Technology required
BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association (or obtain within 90 days)

Education

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in radiation therapy techniques and treatment planning
Skilled in simulation and patient positioning for accurate treatment delivery
Strong patient care and communication skills to put patients at ease
Knowledge of safety protocols and ALARA principles
