Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile technique and instrument readiness
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes
Perform patient assessments, monitor intraoperative status and respond to changes
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Advocate for patient safety and comfort before, during and after procedures

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Arizona licensure or compact eligibility preferred
Experience in Operating Room (OR) - General preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; perioperative certifications a plus
Strong clinical assessment skills and experience with perioperative workflows
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Aseptic and sterile technique mastery
Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and OR protocols
Patient assessment and perioperative monitoring skills
Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and act proactively
Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care clearly
