Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
Provide compassionate hands-on care and emotional support to residents
Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Document care and follow care plans accurately and timely
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current/state CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable working with diverse populations in a long-term care setting
Pass a background check and required health screenings per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene assistance
Vital signs and observation/reporting of patient condition
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Time management and documentation skills
Teamwork and effective communication with residents and staff
