Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients as a licensed RN
Monitor patient status continuously and respond quickly to changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions safely and accurately
Document patient care, assessments, and communication clearly and timely
Support families with clear communication and compassionate updates
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
Experience or background in ICU nursing (critical care experience preferred)
Ability to complete facility orientation prior to starting shifts
Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or eligible for state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for critically ill patients
Comfort with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and ICU equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
Able to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
