Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control policies
Document care accurately and participate in thorough shift handoffs
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to promote excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility policy)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs and basic patient care
Understanding of infection control and safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills (paper or electronic records)
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and reliability
