Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends — Day 4x10 (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM) and Night 4x10 (10:00 PM - 08:00 AM); may also cover swing shifts and 8/10/12-hour coverage as needed (variable schedule, manager will review during interview)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations across a broad range of adult and pediatric studies, delivering clear images that inform excellent patient care
• Prepare and administer MRI contrast safely and accurately, following protocols and patient safety practices
• Obtain and maintain peripheral IV access when required for contrast-enhanced studies
• Operate Siemens MRI systems and perform image post-processing tasks such as MIP and MPR to ensure diagnostically useful studies
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines to protect patients and staff
• Document exams promptly and accurately in the electronic charting system (Epic preferred)
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide efficient, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Washington State MRI license required (must have license in hand)
• ARRT MR certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum ~1 year of MRI experience (clinical experience with a variety of MRI exams preferred)
• Experience with MR cardiac, MR angio (including lower extremity runoff), breast imaging and trauma imaging is a plus
• Comfortable using Epic (preferred) and Siemens MRI platforms

Knowledge & Skills

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) fundamentals and safety
• Contrast administration and monitoring
• Peripheral IV insertion and venous access skills
• T1- and T2-weighted imaging techniques
• Image post-processing: MIP, MPR, ADC mapping and subtraction
• MR cardiac, MR angiography, MR venography and special imaging procedures
• Pediatric and adult imaging workflows across acute care, ICU and outpatient settings
• Isolation precautions, PPE use and radiation safety practices
