Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support for residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and accurately document vital signs and report any changes to the care team
Support safe transfers and positioning following facility protocols
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and families
Help create a warm, engaging environment that promotes resident well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and provide up-to-date immunizations
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Ability to perform physical aspects of care including lifting and transfers per policy

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with personal care and supporting activities of daily living
Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs and observing resident condition
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Accurate charting and attention to detail in documentation
Compassionate bedside manner and good interpersonal skills
Teamwork and ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
