Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in a wide range of surgical procedures including ortho major joints, general, urology, and vascular cases
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
• Operate advanced equipment like Da Vinci Xi robots, MAKO and OMNI navigation systems
• Document procedures accurately using MEDITECH system
• Float to other areas as needed when ORs are shut down, supporting a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience with a focus on orthopedics
• Experience with ortho major joints, general, urology (open & cysto), and minor vascular
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and call
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in orthopedic surgical procedures, including total joints and navigation systems
• Familiarity with Da Vinci Xi robot, MAKO Navigation, and OMNI Navigation
• Skilled in MEDITECH documentation
• Knowledge of AORN guidelines and best practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
