Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly
• Document care and patient responses in the electronic health record promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Advocate for patient needs and ensure dignity and respect in every interaction

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Rhode Island (or compact privileges where applicable)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience as an RN or recent LPN-to-RN transition experience is welcome
• Ability to work the scheduled day shift hours and complete a 13-week travel assignment
• Proof of required immunizations and background checks as requested by the facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or diploma) appropriate to RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and patient documentation
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced care settings
• Basic wound care, IV/line familiarity (depending on unit), and monitoring skills
