Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips while monitoring patient response
Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use cases
Collaborate with 24/7 OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers for seamless care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable functioning independently in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise with ability to handle 33+ week high-risk deliveries
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for complex OB cases
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with Centricity Perinatal EFM system a plus
Adaptable to unit workflows and open to constructive feedback
