Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDR unit
Circulate during cesarean sections and assist in surgical procedures
Administer and monitor IV medications such as magnesium sulfate for high-risk patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced Level III NICU environment
Assist with epidurals, spinals, and other obstetric procedures
Utilize advanced fetal monitoring and electronic medical records (Meditech)

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification required
Experience circulating c-sections and scrub role preferred
Proficiency in IV drips including magnesium
Strong EFM and high-acuity patient management skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation
Electronic medical record proficiency (Meditech)
Neonatal resuscitation and postpartum care
High-risk obstetrics management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
