Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced procedures
- Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Compassionate patient and family care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
