Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care during endoscopy and procedural cases including ERCP procedures
• Assist with polypectomy, colonoscopy, EGD with dilation, and Barrett's esophagus treatments
• Monitor patients in pre-op and PACU settings while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and endo techs to maintain efficient room turnover
• Float to pre/post-surgical inpatient areas as needed to support the broader care team
• Complete required procedure sedation class and maintain all necessary certifications

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum one year of Endoscopy experience with ERCP expertise
• At least one year of Telemetry experience, Critical Care experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience
• Must pass the Dysrhythmia Exam through UNA with two attempts allowed

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of endoscopy procedures and patient monitoring
• Ability to work with Phillips telemetry equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable floating between pre-op, procedure rooms, and PACU
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle 8-15 procedures per day
