Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Set up and circulate for complex cardiovascular procedures including open heart surgeries like CABG, MVR, and AVR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and operating room efficiency
Maintain sterile technique and manage central line and arterial line setups
Operate specialized equipment such as Belmont rapid infuser and cell saver
Proactively plan for potential issues and assist with room turnover
Provide direct patient contact with excellent communication and a team approach to problem-solving

Qualifications

Current RN license in Virginia or a compact state
BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience
Experience with Meditech Expanse documentation system
Ability to scrub and circulate cardiovascular procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills
Proficient in sterile technique, room set up, and turnover
Skilled in central line, art line, Belmont, and cell saver setup and operation
Knowledge of open heart procedures and vascular surgeries
Forward-thinking and proactive planning abilities
