Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and call shifts (7-9 call days monthly, including at least 1 weekend)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, and Impella procedures
• Administer emergency medications and manage patient hemodynamics during critical cases
• Operate GE x-ray equipment and document procedures in Maclab and Meditech systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma Center to provide exceptional patient care
• Participate in rotating call schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for emergent cardiac cases
• Maintain sterile field and assist physicians during complex cardiovascular interventions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state
• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience with proficiency in LHC, PCI, TAVR, and Impella
• Advanced knowledge of emergency medications and cardiac arrhythmia management
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiovascular anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skilled in using GE x-ray equipment and cardiac documentation systems
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making in high-pressure situations
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a focus on patient safety
