Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-procedure care for cardiac patients following TAVR, catheterizations, ablations, and watchman procedures
Monitor telemetry and manage cardiac drips with precision and compassion
Assist with pacemaker and cardio mems implants, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Respond to STEMI alerts and collaborate with the team to deliver life-saving interventions
Educate patients and families on recovery plans and cardiac health
Maintain accurate documentation in Allscripts and uphold patient experience standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state
Minimum 2 years of experience in post-cath recovery or EP recovery
BLS certification required
Ability to float to like units as needed
Passion for cardiac nursing and a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
Proficient in caring for patients post-TAVR, ablations, and watchman procedures
Skilled in administering and titrating cardiac drips
Familiar with Allscripts documentation system
Strong communication and patient education skills
