Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate behavioral health nursing care to adult and/or adolescent patients
Perform thorough assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
Monitor patient status, manage crises, and implement appropriate interventions
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team at Cottage Hospital for coordinated care
Document patient care accurately and timely, supporting continuity and quality
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
Experience or demonstrated interest in behavioral health nursing
Comfort working in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
Willingness to complete facility orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Behavioral health principles and therapeutic communication
Patient assessment and crisis de-escalation skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Accurate clinical documentation and attention to detail
Professionalism and strong patient advocacy
