Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or Friday-Monday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and lead engaging recreational activities to boost patient mental health and well-being
Assess individual needs and create personalized therapy plans that make a real difference
Collaborate with the mental health team to support holistic patient recovery
Facilitate group sessions that foster social connections and emotional growth
Track progress and celebrate milestones with patients on their journey

Qualifications

Active Recreational Therapist license or certification
Experience in mental health or occupational therapy settings preferred
BLS certification
California license if required
Compassionate team player ready to make an impact

Education

Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in recreational therapy techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creativity in activity planning
Understanding of mental health principles
Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
