Location: Richmond, Virginia

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three shifts per week (typically Monday-Friday), 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging
Provide compassionate patient care and education
Maintain and operate GE X-ray equipment safely
Document procedures thoroughly in Meditech system
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Active Virginia state license as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 2 years of experience in X-Ray imaging

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with GE X-ray equipment
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
Strong patient care and communication skills
Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
