Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $189 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a correctional setting
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance standards
Support continuity of care through effective communication and follow-up

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted medical license in California
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
Experience in primary care or correctional medicine preferred

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of primary care medicine
Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities
Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
Proficiency with electronic health records
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
