Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN clinical care including prenatal management, deliveries, and gynecologic surgery
• Perform and manage deliveries at Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital (Level II NICU, with University of Cincinnati MFM collaboration)
• Deliver high-quality outpatient care across scheduled clinic days
• Participate actively in a 1:6 shared call rotation to ensure excellent patient coverage
• Collaborate closely with certified nurse-midwives and maternal-fetal medicine specialists for integrated care
• Work with and support your care team — MA or LPN, triage staff, and administrative colleagues — to optimize patient experience
• Contribute to the growth and collegial culture of an expanding women’s health program
• Provide mentorship and support to new graduates when applicable

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (board certified or board eligible preferred)
• Eligible for or holding an active Ohio medical license
• Clinical skills in labor & delivery, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient OB/GYN care
• Comfortable participating in a 1:6 shared call rotation and collaborating with midwives and MFM teams
• Willingness to work the posted Monday–Friday schedule (3 clinic days, 2 surgery days)
• New graduates welcome with mentorship support; experienced physicians encouraged to apply
• Not accepting Locum candidates, 1099 contractors, J-1 or H-1B visa support

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of obstetrics, labor & delivery management, and gynecologic surgical procedures
• Ability to collaborate effectively with certified nurse-midwives and maternal-fetal medicine colleagues
• Skilled in outpatient management and coordinating perioperative care
• Team-oriented approach with mentorship and leadership capabilities
• Comfort working within a mission-driven, patient-centered health system
