Location: Ada, Oklahoma

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, flexible 8-hour days between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM start, 35 hours per week guaranteed

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation interventions that help patients regain strength and mobility
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under PT supervision
Track patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and recovery goals
Document treatment minutes and clinical notes accurately in the electronic system
Collaborate with the care team during patient conferences and rehab meetings
Support students and new team members as they learn the ropes

Qualifications

Active PTA license in Oklahoma
At least 1 year of PTA experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
New graduates welcome with strong Level II clinical experience
Current skills checklist within the last year
Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
Therapeutic exercise and manual therapy
Patient progress tracking and documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Regulatory compliance and ethical practice standards
