Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, weekends required up to 26 shifts per contract

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master aseptic techniques to ensure safe medication preparation
Compound sterile and non-sterile products with precision and care
Prepare IV mixtures and manage high-alert medications flawlessly
Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems to streamline pharmacy operations
Prevent and report medication errors to safeguard patient well-being
Support inpatient acute care in a critical access hospital setting

Qualifications

Active Oregon state license in hand - a must
1+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably more
CPHt certification preferred
Travel experience required to hit the ground running

Education

Pharmacy technician training with state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Epic charting and Pyxis dispensing systems
Proficiency in pharmacy law, controlled substances, and high-alert meds
Strong grasp of pharmacology including generic/brand names and administration routes
Skilled in labeling, packaging, and sterilizing flow hoods
