Roles & Responsibilities

• Assure that patient drug therapy needs are met through accurate, timely clinical pharmacy services
• Manage drug distribution operations, including unit dose and IV admixture preparation and verification
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and apply technical pharmacy practice in an acute care setting
• Participate in teaching activities to support learners and staff development
• Carry out assigned administrative duties to support pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Conduct or support pharmacy-related research projects and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to optimize medication therapy

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience required — candidates must have experience beyond retail practice
• Familiarity with unit dose systems and IV admixtures
• Strong computer skills and comfort with pharmacy information systems
• Demonstrated clinical and technical pharmacy practice abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently under the Director's supervision
• Willingness to engage in teaching, administrative duties, and research as part of the role
