OB/GYN Physician Assistant

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 05-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM clinic with some hospital coverage and call 1 in 5 days, 1 in 10 overnight and weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $203 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage low and high-risk pregnancies with confidence
Perform routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections and VBACs
Interpret fetal heart rates and conduct viability ultrasounds
Handle office GYN procedures like IUD insertions and LEEP
Collaborate with a team of 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels
Provide top-notch care in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting

Qualifications

Physician Assistant license required
Experience in OB/GYN with low-risk pregnancies and routine deliveries
Comfortable with C-sections, breech deliveries, and laceration repairs
Preferred skills in high-risk pregnancies and OB ultrasounds

Education

Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
Current certification and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

FHR interpretation via NST/CST/FSE
Decision-making for C-sections and VBACs
Office gynecology including colposcopy and cryosurgery
Ultrasound performance and interpretation
