Location: Tacoma, Washington

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, occasional weekends and holidays, limited call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI imaging
- Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals with precision and care
- Operate advanced GE and Phillips imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies
- Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology teams to ensure accurate, timely results for every patient
- Maintain detailed documentation using EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Float within the nuclear medicine department as needed while providing compassionate patient care
Qualifications
- ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
- Active Washington state license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable starting IVs and working with a variety of imaging studies
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols and safety standards
- Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- Experience with GE and Phillips nuclear medicine equipment
- Excellent patient communication and IV starting skills
- Ability to handle 12 studies per day with accuracy and efficiency
