Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostic testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain and document strict quality control procedures to ensure reliable patient results
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and best practices to protect patients and staff
Troubleshoot instrumentation and testing issues, escalating when necessary to minimize downtime
Collaborate with the laboratory team and clinical staff to ensure timely reporting and resolution of critical results
Support operational excellence by multitasking across disciplines while prioritizing patient care and quality

Qualifications

Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license required
Demonstrated proficiency in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology testing
Ability to follow and enforce quality control and laboratory safety procedures
Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced lab environment
Full-time availability and commitment to evening/night shift schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general laboratory techniques for Chemistry and Hematology
Hands-on experience with blood bank procedures and serology
Microbiology culture and identification skills
Strong quality control, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities
Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance
Clear communication and teamwork skills to support clinical stakeholders
