Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care as an LPN
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient vitals and condition changes
Collaborate closely with the RN and interdisciplinary care team
Support care plan implementation and update patient records promptly
Educate patients and families with clear, kind communication
Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
Assist with admissions, transfers, and smooth patient transitions

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
Comfortable with medication administration and patient assessments
Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of patient assessment and nursing fundamentals
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Infection control and safety protocols
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced care setting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
