Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and support daily living activities
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Observe and document patient behavior and progress
Collaborate with nurses and doctors in treatment planning
Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Current California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
Excellent attendance and communication skills
Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday shifts
No time off requests during contract period
Strong ability to confirm/cancel shifts daily

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
Proficient in medication administration and charting
Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA
Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
Team collaboration and interpersonal skills
