Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, supporting daily living activities
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Assess and monitor patient condition; report changes promptly to nursing leadership
Document care and resident status clearly and professionally in the chart/EHR
Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and other team members to deliver coordinated care
Support residents' families with clear communication and empathy
Participate in facility initiatives to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Maine (required)
Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
Wound care and infection control fundamentals
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Excellent interpersonal skills and resident-centered care approach
Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
